May 25th was officially declared Star Wars Day in Los Angeles, and marked the first night in the 30th anniversary and convention of the original film. In that spirit, I thought it behoove me to write about all the great, recent projects Star Wars has produced or at least inspired.
Straight from the House of Lucas comes "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" set to premiere in the fall of 2008. For those paying attention, the series takes place between the Star Wars episodes 2 and 3.HERE
For those looking for something a little lighter and a claymation George Lucas (who still completely rocks his signature flannel shirt), check out The Cartoon Network's "Robot Chicken" tribute "Robot Chicken Wars"HERE. The actual show premieres on June 17th.
Additionally, "The Family Guy" has it's own take on "Star Wars" that was premiered at the convention to a cheering audience. I'll give you three guesses if Stewie goes to the dark side. HIGHLY UNETHICAL LINK HERE
Now if we could only find an Ewok talk show. Oprah would be scared.
